HelferApp shut down on 31 March 2026. With Helferplanung, your volunteers sign up via a link, without an account.
Clubs and organisers plan their volunteers with Helferplanung
Its operators have shut the service down. This is what their website says today.
HelferApp was shut down for good on 31 March 2026.
There are no plans to publish it as an open-source project on GitHub.
HelferApp can no longer be reached by email. Its email account has been deleted.
You need a new tool for volunteer scheduling. You can bring your volunteer list along as a file. Areas, tasks and shifts you set up again.

A list of your volunteers is enough to start, for example from your membership records or an earlier export.
Upload your volunteer list as a CSV or Excel file. First name, last name and email are required. No message goes out during the import.

If your columns are called First name, Last name, Email and Phone, for example, the app maps them itself. Otherwise you pick them. First name, last name and email are required.
If the list already knows the address, the volunteer is updated, otherwise created. Empty cells overwrite nothing.
If a name or the email is missing, or the address is invalid or appears twice in the file, the row cannot be selected.
The import sends no email and no invitation. The app deletes the uploaded file afterwards.

An account for every person puts people off, especially volunteers who help once a year.
Volunteers need no account. They choose their shifts and enter their name, email and mobile number.
