Volunteer sign-up for your events.

Your volunteers pick their shifts via a link, enter their name and contact details and they are in. No account.

Everything that matters sits with the shift.

Before anyone signs up, they see what to expect. You add it once, and the sign-up page shows it with every shift.

Names of registered volunteers on the booking pageIn the event settings
  • Free places

A bar and a number show what is still free. Full shifts say “Full” and cannot be selected.

  • Descriptions

Areas and tasks show the start of their description. “Read more” opens the full text.

  • Contact person

Each area lists the people in charge, with a link to their email.

  • Minimum age

Tasks with a minimum age carry a label. Everyone knows beforehand whether the task suits them.

  • Minimum number of shifts

If a task needs several shifts, every one of them says so. With too few, nobody can continue.

  • Who is already in

You decide whether and how the names of signed-up volunteers appear. Try it out.

Enter details, done.

In the second step the page only asks for what you need to reach your volunteers. Then they see straight away which shifts they have.

  • No account, but reachable

First name, last name, email and mobile number are required, even if someone picks email as their channel. On the day, you can reach anyone quickly by phone.

  • Email or WhatsApp

If you offer WhatsApp, volunteers choose their channel here. Otherwise everything comes by email.

  • Nobody gets overbooked

On submitting, the page checks the places again. If a shift filled up in the meantime, the last page says which one.

Check back later, no account.

The confirmation comes with a personal link to the volunteer area. There, volunteers see everything they have signed up for.

The volunteer area

Registrations with their status, their own answers and cancelling until the deadline. After that, it shows who to contact.

All events on one page

Your organisation’s name at the top of the sign-up page leads to “Upcoming events”. It lists every published event.

  • Approve sign-ups

Want to check every sign-up? Then it stays pending until you approve or reject it. The volunteer is told afterwards.

  • Shifts in the calendar

The confirmation email contains a link to the calendar subscription. If a shift changes, the calendar follows.

  • Filled in next time

Anyone who picks more shifts from their volunteer area finds their name, email and number already filled in.

  • New sign-ups at a glance

New sign-ups appear under Activity. The dashboard shows which shifts are still below the minimum.

Questions about volunteer sign-up

Your question is not listed? Write to us and we will get back to you in person.

Ask a question
Can I allow overlapping shifts?
Yes. Switch off “Prevent double bookings” in the event settings. It is on for new events and also stops anyone booking the same shift twice.
How many volunteers can sign up?
The limit counts assignments, meaning one volunteer in one shift. The Free plan allows 20 per event, Small 1000 and Medium unlimited. It applies when you plan: you cannot create more places in shifts than your plan allows. So nobody is ever turned away on the sign-up page.
Can two people sign up with the same email address?
No. An email address belongs to exactly one person and identifies the volunteer. Anyone signing up a child or partner needs that person’s own address.
Can I add volunteers myself?
Yes. In Controlling you assign volunteers to a shift, new ones too. First and last name are enough, email and phone are optional. A confirmation only goes to an email address you enter.
