A question applies to the whole event, to an area or to a task. The sign-up page only asks it when a matching shift is selected.

What your volunteers enter shows up in their profile and in the export for the whole event.

In the volunteer profile

Under "Additional information" you see the answers for the event and correct them if needed. Answers per shift sit with the shift.

As an Excel file

The export counts every answer. So you know how many shirts to order in which size.

In the volunteer area

Under "Your answers", volunteers see what they entered for each sign-up.

  • Six answer types

    Text, number, yes/no, select, multi-select or date. Volunteers always get the matching input.

  • Required questions

    If an answer is missing, the sign-up cannot be sent. The page says which question is still open.

  • Drag to reorder

    In both groups you drag the questions into the right order. On a touchscreen, press and hold.

  • Hide instead of delete

    Untick "Visible for volunteers" and the question disappears from the sign-up page, the assignment stays. Deleting removes it from every event.

  • When you assign, too

    If you add someone to a shift yourself in Controlling, you enter their answers at the same time.

What information may I ask for?
Only what you really need for your event. Sensitive data such as health information only with a legal basis. The app points this out when you create a question.
Can the same question apply once per helper and per shift?
Not in the same event. There a question applies either once per helper or for each selected shift. In another event you can assign it differently.
Do the questions come along when I copy an event?
The questions stay in your organisation’s catalogue. The app does not copy the assignments: in the new event you assign the questions again.
Can I ask a question in several areas?
Yes. Assign it to each area separately. Anyone who picks shifts in several of them still gets the question only once. If you also assign it to a task, the text and answers of that more specific assignment apply.
