Before anyone signs up, they see what to expect. You add it once, and the sign-up page shows it with every shift. Names of registered volunteers on the booking page In the event settings Do not display First name only Last name only First name and last-name initial First-name initial and last name Full name - ### Free places A bar and a number show what is still free. Full shifts say “Full” and cannot be selected. - ### Descriptions Areas and tasks show the start of their description. “Read more” opens the full text. - ### Contact person Each area lists the people in charge, with a link to their email. * ### Minimum age Tasks with a minimum age carry a label. Everyone knows beforehand whether the task suits them. * ### Minimum number of shifts If a task needs several shifts, every one of them says so. With too few, nobody can continue. * ### Who is already in You decide whether and how the names of signed-up volunteers appear. Try it out. ## Enter details, done. In the second step the page only asks for what you need to reach your volunteers. Then they see straight away which shifts they have. - ### No account, but reachable First name, last name, email and mobile number are required, even if someone picks email as their channel. On the day, you can reach anyone quickly by phone. - ### Email or WhatsApp If you offer WhatsApp, volunteers choose their channel here. Otherwise everything comes by email. If a shift filled up in the meantime, the last page says which one. ## Check back later, no account. The confirmation comes with a personal link to the volunteer area. There, volunteers see everything they have signed up for. ### The volunteer area Registrations with their status, their own answers and cancelling until the deadline. After that, it shows who to contact. ### Lost the link? On the sign-up page, volunteers request a new link with their email address. It is only sent by email. ### All events on one page Your organisation’s name at the top of the sign-up page leads to “Upcoming events”. Switch off “Prevent double bookings” in the event settings. It is on for new events and also stops anyone booking the same shift twice. **How many volunteers can sign up?** The limit counts assignments, meaning one volunteer in one shift. The Free plan allows 20 per event, Small 1000 and Medium unlimited. It applies when you plan: you cannot create more places in shifts than your plan allows. So nobody is ever turned away on the sign-up page. **Can two people sign up with the same email address?** No. An email address belongs to exactly one person and identifies the volunteer. Anyone signing up a child or partner needs that person’s own address. **Can I add volunteers myself?** Yes. In Controlling you assign volunteers to a shift, new ones too.
